Riding Sessions & Prices
We offer a range of horse riding activities to suit all interests and abilities, please read below to see what we can offer you:
Horse riding lessons:
Trail-rides are rides out around the local area, mainly through the sugarcane plantations. They can be arranged for riders of all abilities. Riders with little previous horse riding experience will be accompanied on foot by an experienced guide who can instruct you and help you to control your horse as you ride, these rides are 1hour duration. Experienced riders can choose to ride for 1 or 2 hours and will be accompanied by an experienced rider on horseback.
Canter Track and Cross Country:
Supervised sessions on the canter track for clients who can already control a horse at all speeds, an assessment lesson is required beforehand. Our track includes a few rustic fences allowing you to try cross-country style jumping.
Horse/Stable Management:
We also arrange horse/stable management sessions to learn about looking after horses. These are lectures, demonstrations and practicals that can be arranged as either a series of 1 hour courses or as half-day courses. They cover topics such as tack, grooming and feeding and can be tailor-made to meet your requirements.
Livery:
We offer livery services to horse owners, please see our livery page . We also offer working livery options to people wanting to have their own horse but have less time or less budget. Please see our livery page for more details.
Parties/Functions:
We are available on a private hire basis to clubs, companies and individuals for functions and parties. Most popular is the children’s birthday package including pony rides. We are happy to discuss your requirements with you and can give you a tailor-made quotation.
Gifts:
If you wish to purchase a horse riding course as a gift, gift vouchers are available, please contact us for details.

Horse riding lessons:
- 1 hour sessions are recommended for adults and older children of all abilities. The session is taught by an instructor. If other people are booked on the same ride as you we will always endeavour to ensure that all riders are of a similar ability.
- 30min sessions are available to anyone over 5yrs old regardless of previous riding experience. The session is taught by an instructor. These sessions are generally recommended for younger children or as a ‘taster’ session for older children and adults who have never ridden before.
- 10min lead-rein sessions are available for children who want to try horse riding but don’t feel ready for a lesson. These sessions are walk around sessions either in the sand arena or in the grounds of the centre, the pony is led by an experienced groom and a second person can walk beside the child if required.
